Shaping the future... inspired by the past

Doris Jones Limited is one of the area's newest Home Care providers, gaining Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration in June 2011. But caring for people's wellbeing is nothing new for Caroline Southgate, Doris Jones' founder.

Caroline qualified in 1997 as a physiotherapist from UEL and has worked as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist for many years, building up a successful private practice, CS Physio Ltd, which maintains an enviable reputation in the area.

Working with physiotherapy patients in the community, Caroline was exposed to the realities of home care and saw, first-hand, both highly inconsistent and often shockingly poor quality care provision.

It was this that inspired Caroline to establish Doris Jones Limited and build a home care service to radically improve on the levels of care she was seeing in patients' homes. 

As a result, we promote the choice, independence and dignity of our clients, believing that only a holistic, person-centred approach will deliver the levels of care they deserve.
